Look for more insights in 2017.
The past year was certainly a challenging year for U.S. agriculture. In particular, farmers faced continued low commodity prices, high land costs, rising inputs, increased supplier mergers and acquisitions, complicated crop insurance programs and the list could go on and on. As we enter a new year the marketing challenges we face will continue to come from multiple fronts.
This year we launched our blog, Marketing To Farmers, to provide insights into the unique opportunities of connecting brands with farmers, including the “5 Generations of Farmers.” We explored a number of topics in categories like branding, customer insights, advertising, internet of things and digital.
As the new year starts, we would like to take a look back at the five most popular Marketing To Farmers blogs, according to you our readers.
Finally, thanks for helping to make Marketing To Farmers a success in its first year. Heading into our second year, one thing remains true … we need to be more strategic and efficient with our marketing dollars and deliver a high ROI, just like the farmers we serve. We look forward to exploring more topics in 2017 and to more of your feedback and comments.
Wishing you a successful marketing year in 2017.
